"Gök" is a Turkish grape variety, native to Karacaoğlan, Mersin, near Turkey's southern coast. This wine is made 100% from Gök grapes grown and harvested from 60 year old goblet trained and dry-farmed "own-root" vineyards located at an altitude of 1150m above sea level and 40km from the Mediterranean Sea on the slopes of the Taurus Mountains. Lush flavors of apricot and nectarine, wrapped in a core of zesty, high-altitude acidity that keeps each sip vibrant. Savory saline notes blend harmoniously with rich undertones of caramel and butterscotch.
