Tulip Tree Creamery is located in Indianapolis, IN and was founded in 2014 by Fons Smits and Laura Davenport. Using traditional European recipes with their own twists, Tulip Tree Creamery produces an array of washed rind and soft-ripened cheeses, as well as a few fresh and aged styles. Nightshade is inspired by one of Fons' favorite cheeses, Old Amsterdam. It's full flavored with a hint of sharpness. Aged for 7 months, Nightshade is has a smooth yet firm texture with caramel undertones.
