Marieke Penterman was born and raised on a 60 cow dairy farm in the Netherlands. After moving to Wisconsin with her husband Rolf, Marieke was desperately missing the gouda from her homeland so in 2006 Marieke and Rolf started Holland's Family Cheese in Thorp, WI. Using farmstead-fresh, raw cow's milk from their farm, Marieke began crafting authentic Dutch cheeses. Cajun Holy Trinity gouda is an aromatic flavor base with green bell pepper, celery, and onion.
