The estate begins in 1965 with the return to plantings that had been invaded by surrounding woods and left untended. The winemakers brought in a biodynamic influence to leave the wild and natural driven aspect of the plantings intact, but amp up what a site like this could provide wine wise. The plottings are situated in San Gimignano the outside of the Chianti Classico region. The Sangiovese offers a robust palate, showing flashy notes of tomato, oregano stem, and exuberant cherry. A lasting finish begs to be enjoyed alongside a hearty meal.
