Intense and clear ruby-red color with purple hues. The scent is full and persistent, with notes of fresh fruit. Fresh and harmonious in the mouth, with good structure and interesting tannins. Austere, polished and decadent. Aromas of blackberry, cherry, tilled soil, new leather, star anise, and tobacco. Savory & bright! The blend is made of 100% Sangiovese grapes, vinified through a long maceration on the skins and frequent pumping over at a maximum temperature of 28 degrees, using selected native yeasts for fermentation from the same grapes harvested a few days earlier. The wine ages for a year in Slavonian oak barrels before refining in the bottle for about three months.
