Trebbiano Fosso Cancelli is produced from the estate's oldest vineyard, with the aim of crafting a great artisanal wine from historic, native varieties. Planted in the 1960s and 1970s using the Abruzzese pergola system on clay-limestone soil in the Loreto Aprutino-Pianella area, the grapes are harvested by hand in September and vinified on native yeasts using a pied de cuve. Since 2018, it has been vinified and aged in terracotta amphorae and Slavonian oak barrels. Richly textured and evocative of autumn- pumpkin spice, bitter honey, and yellow stone fruit. Simply outstanding.
